Chest pain

Today I lost a friend to heart attack,acute myocardial infarction, to be particular…. I was on night shift.. He walked in complaining of chest pains of sudden onset, fatigue in the weekend prior. He had just left ICU from seeing some of his patients and chatted with nurses, saying he won’t review his patients as he assured not feeling well. EKG revealed that he had  MI. He had a short chart with a doctor and gave his car keys out for it to be packed away from ER front parking. Shortly convulsed once, we rushed to resuscitation room, and all also protocols applied for 2 hours ten minutes. We were hopeful he gasped and tried to fight but we couldn’t keep him with us. The heavy hearts of calling off a resuscitation…..

A whole team of doctors and nurses, we lost a friend at 53yr of age….

Am still grieving….. My heart goes out to his family..
